  • Trilinos is installed into the atmospheric dynamical core package HOMME for the purposes of solving implicit formulations. Recent accomplishments include a 20% reduction in function evaluation costs due to reformulations, and integration of a flexible GMRES variant needed to support semi-implicit methods as preconditioners. This is a joint effort with scientists and mathematicians at ORNL.

  •
  • Trilinos is integrated into MFIX and studies are starting to improve the robustness and performance of solutions to coal gasification problems. This is a joint effort with scientist at NETL and ORNL.
